Description of the model

Schoolyard composition made of different interactive game items for visually impaired learners.

  • Slide : only one item, “slide”
  • Swing : “swing” “swingHolder” “swingBar”
  • Roundabout : “merrygo1” “merrygo2”
  • Seesaw : “seesaw”  “seesawBase” “seesawBar” and optionally “seesawBarLid”

You can print the different playground / schoolyard games and place it as you want.

This model was designed and tested as part of the 3D4VIP project.

Printing instructions and tips

Slide: You can print it leaning on its side to avoid supports.

Swing: Print two holders, one bar and one swing. Once printed, introduce the swing into the bar and then, fit the holders. You can glue the holders to the bar for more fixation.

Roundabout: print the two parts and put them together, it starts spinning.

Seesaw: print the seesaw, the base, and the bar. Fit the bar into the other pieces. You can use the bar lid to fix the ends of the bar, but it’s not mandatory.

Controls

  • On mobile devices swipe to rotate.
  • On mobile devices pinch two fingers together or apart to adjust zoom.
  • On mobile devices 3 finger horizontal swipe performs panning.
