3.5 Braille in 3D Builder

Microsoft 3D Builder is a Windows app that comes as part of the Windows 10 operating system. The main function of 3D Builder is to open and view files in different formats, but it also has a limited editing capability. The tools are very easy to use, but the range of functions is restricted. For example, text can be imprinted on a 3D model. This process is shown below.

1. Create the object on which you want to write.

A cuboid in lateral projection

2. Select the object on which you want to put braille and use the Edit/Emboss .

Braille dots in the form of cylinders are marked on the cuboid.

3. Enter the desired text, select the font and other parameters as necessary. Click Emboss.

Braille dots are imprinted on the cuboid.
