Six out is a popular game among learners who are blind or with low vision. Instructions for the game are provided at the following link, which can also be saved directly on the model as a QR code or nfc tag.
The lid of the box can be printed in two ways:
Version 1 with colour change
To print the lines and the dots on the top of the lid in a different colour, a colour change can be set in the slicer. The printer then pauses the printing process so that the filament can be changed.
Version 2 without colour change
The lid and the dots are printed separately. For example, superglue can be used to glue the dots into the lid.
Note:
To play, a (tactile) cube and 36 wooden dowels ( cheap at the hardware store) are needed.
To hold the lid firmly on the box, cube-shaped magnets 5x5mm can be pressed into the lid. Disc magnets with a diameter of 5mm and a thickness of 1mm must then be glued into the box. Attention: You have to pay attention to the polarity. For example, these two magnets can be used:
